Technology for Michigan manufacturers and suppliers.
Plants bought over the years, each on its own system. Quotes in one tool, orders in another, and a report someone rebuilds by hand every week. A server room nobody wants to touch. We're based in Metro Detroit, and we bring in the partner that fits the problem, or tell you that none of them does.
What we hear from plants.
If one of these is on your list this year, the first call will be a short one.
Each plant you bought came with its own ERP, its own spreadsheets and its own way of counting. Seeing the whole business means a week of exports. Decypher connects those systems through one hub and one data warehouse, without ripping any of them out.
Quotes and customer history live in the CRM, orders and inventory in the ERP, and someone re-keys between them. MSquare, a certified Salesforce partner, connects Salesforce to the ERP, SAP included, through MuleSoft.
If the weekly numbers take someone most of a day to pull together, Decypher builds dashboards that fill themselves from the systems you already run.
Hardware past its best, a VMware renewal that came back at a multiple of last year, backups nobody has test-restored. Liberty Center One hosts, backs up and recovers those systems from its data center in Royal Oak.
A supplier that fixed it.
Twenty years of acquisitions, one integration hub
A large automotive supplier spent 20 years growing, partly by expanding and partly by buying other companies. Each step brought more software, until CRM and prospecting, accounting and payroll, safety, and inventory and sales all ran on systems that couldn't share data. Decypher sat with the teams to see how the work actually moved, then built a central integration hub, one data warehouse with standard metrics, and an executive dashboard. Duplicate entry dropped, the numbers started to agree, planning and forecasting now run across what used to be separate functions, and management can see the business at any hour.

Who does the work.
Three partners, each picked for one kind of problem. Each pays Salter Growth when a client we introduce starts an engagement. You pay us nothing.

Do you only work with Michigan companies?
No. We're based in Metro Detroit and work with mid-market companies across the U.S. This page is for the manufacturers and suppliers close to home.
Our ERP is old. Do we have to replace it?
Usually not first. Decypher's approach is to connect the systems you already run rather than rip them out, and MSquare connects Salesforce to ERPs such as SAP. Whether to replace the ERP is an easier call once you can see your data in one place.
What size of company is this for?
Mostly mid-market. Big enough to have the problem properly, small enough that one bad technology decision is felt across the whole business.
How does Salter Growth get paid?
Our delivery partners pay us when a client we bring them starts an engagement. You don't pay us anything. In practice we're fractional sales for three firms we've watched deliver, which is exactly why we keep the bench that small: a bad match costs us the relationship and the fee, so when none of them fits, we say so.
